Boo Hoo! I took Jules (kitten) on a short evening walk around the block with Jeff, and a boy on a motor scooter reclaimed her. So happy for the boy and his family, but it was a sad day for me and the little ones. Jeff didn't seem to mind too much either way.

Kaylie can't wait till Jules can spend the whole night in her room...she snuck Jules into bed with her this evening while I was tucking in the boys...Jules didnt' seem to mind.

Who's the real Super man??? This is Caleb's new piggy bank, we lost the plug to the last one. This one says 6 different super things with back ground music and a breeze blowing the cape every time Caleb puts a coin in it. He LOVES it! His passion for the kitten cooled quickly after getting chased around the kitchen by a very playful kitten who just wanted to hug and bite Caleb's bear feet and ankles...He's sticking to super man and legos for now.

Julie- Jules' ride home

Julie Deak is my new 5 a.m. walking partner, she's the one in the brown shirt far left. She carried Jules, our new kitten home for me.

That's her family and folks.

Ting's gift

Boy was I blessed today!!! A new kitten to love and Ting brought me a gift she just couldn't resist getting me! New mugs! I have so much trouble finding pretty coffee muggs big enough to get me through my Quiet time with out haveing to refill. Ting found these at Macy's for $7 down from $40! What a gift from a wonderful friend! Thank you Ting!

A new kitten to love!

Meet Jules! No Paws didn't have a baby, but if she did, the one we'd keep would look just like this! Julie Deak and I were found by her on our early morning walk boney and starved for love and food. She just came running to us from the side of the road along side a cow field and purred like a Harley. Julie carried her to my house. The family seems to adore the new kitty. Jeff is lying on the kitchen floor down stairs here now playing with her like he's a kitten too. She fits right in.

A friend of God and mine

Jen Bender, friend of God and mine came over this morning in response to a sleepy 8 am call from me. I'd just stumbled out of bed to a house of hungry very awake children and just didn't feel quite ready for the day, but thought this is a good morning for a Jen B. call. So I called her up as I was fumbling around looking for the coffee. And getting the kids a very healthy hearty breakfast... left over potatoes and chicken. (It was warm and fast, they ate it:) She asked if I'd had breakfast yet..."no, no, just bleary eyed and trying to find the coffee, still in pj's, you want to come over?" I offered. Sure she said. As soon as Maddy wakes up we'll come on over and make you an omlette, ham egg chees, and fresh tomatoes. Well that wasn't at all what I'd expected, but check out this blessing.

Let's build a swing set!

Will sombody please inform my mom about the wonders of swim diapers! Anybody? Why is she laughing at us?

Let's do a little catching up...

This was not a set up. I just find Josiah likes sittin with his bed time story and reading bear...He always has to hold this bear in his arms when I sit with him for a bed time story...Makes for quite a lap full, boy, bear, book, but it's better than the screams of protest when we don't do thing "by the book."

Wooooow! Great sand toys!

Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Gordon

Lawn care

Dandelions never stood out more brightly than ours did this year in this neighborhood. Seems all the homes around here can only get grass to grow in their yards. How boring is that?

Some More Spring fun...We'll get some Kaylie photos soon!

Little Josiah soaking the sunshine with the brilliant burst of forsythia flowers this spring.

After a few hours in the house with three very excited children. Mom and Dad decided it was more than a good idea to invest in a back yard swing set! Yipee! This is the one they got.... The neighbors who let us use their swing set when we first moved in have irrected a fence, so the timeing was perfect! Who was the gift REALLY for any how? The grand children, Jeff and I, our neighbors, or Grandpa Gordon???

May Groff Visit

We had such a lovely Mother's day! My mom and dad came up for the weekend, Saterday afternoon and Sunday till after church and just spoiled us rotten with a huge Costco boque, The most marvelous rib steaks I've ever had and a very special fresh made tomato/onion/cheese salad, wich I'm totally hooked on! Thankfully Dad left me with a huge Costco size jar of balsimic vinagar, oliv oil, a pound or two of fancy blue cheese I can't pronounce and fresh tomatoes so I've been making it for myself nearly every day since sunday!_ Dad, Can blue cheese go bad??? I was especially delighted to have my mom sing and play her Hear O Isreal worship song at church on Sunday! It was awsome Mom! So, here's the latest photo flurry!
